Employer declaration
Simplified procedure for citizens of Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Armenia — work up to 24 months.
The fastest path to work legalization for citizens of Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine (without temporary protection): the employer submits an application for registration of the employer's declaration on entrusting work (oswiadczenie o powierzeniu pracy) electronically, before work begins, via praca.gov.pl. It applies to non-seasonal work; the declaration is issued for a period of up to 24 months. The start date of work indicated in the application may be a maximum of 6 months from the date of submission.
Procedure
Stamp duty 400 PLN. The employer's declaration is submitted via praca.gov.pl with the required attachments (including all filled-in pages of the foreigner's passport).
The waiting time depends on the specific office — registration may take a week or several weeks.
Work may begin only after registration, under the conditions specified in the declaration.
For a foreigner abroad, the registered declaration is the basis for applying for a visa (purpose 05a).
Employer's obligations after registration
- reporting the commencement of work within 7 days of the start of work and non-commencement of work within 14 days of the start date indicated in the declaration;
- reporting the end of the foreigner's employment;
- submitting a copy of the contract consistent with the declaration (at least one day before work begins);
- providing documents to the foreigner.
All reports are submitted via praca.gov.pl, under penalty of a fine. If the office exceeds registration deadlines, you can file a reminder for failure to act.
What the GetPermit service includes
- verification of whether the declaration is the appropriate procedure for the given foreigner (alternative: notification of entrusting work for Ukrainian citizens or a work permit);
- preparation and submission of the application via praca.gov.pl.
